I enjoy working with students of all kinds. My love for teaching comes from a life long love of learning. As a Johns Hopkins graduate, I honed my tutoring abilities while attending school by tutoring disadvantaged inner city children and provided tutoring to students on campus. Since then, I have continued tutoring students in SAT, ACT, and algebra 1/2. I specialize in tutoring math and english for standardized exams such as the SAT, ACT, PSAT, SSAT, and ISEE. I also have tutored students in school math subjects from pre-algebra, algebra 1/2, and geometry. I'm very flexible with my tutoring style and can approach different subjects with a visual, auditory, or kinesthetic style of learning. My goals for each session are to provide the students a proper framework to continue learning, even after the tutoring session.
